The greatest round world trip...

...by sail was done by Vito Dumas aboard his "Lehg II" yacht. Sailing around the world on the 40 degrees south, a zone known as "The Roaring Forties", his route goes through all the oceans with almost no land in between. Dumas set sail from Buenos Aires on July 27th 1942 and arrived to the same port on September 7th 1943, more than a year later.
